Cookie Policy
Last updated: April 2026 · Compliant with PECR (Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations)
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember your preferences and understand how you use the site.
Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), we are required to tell you about any cookies we use and to obtain your consent for non-essential cookies.
2. Cookies We Use
NoirDeck uses a minimal set of cookies, described in the table below.
We do not use advertising, tracking, or analytics cookies at this time. If that changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.
3. Essential Cookies
The nd_session and nd_cookie_consent cookies are strictly necessary for the platform to function. You cannot opt out of these while using NoirDeck.
The nd_session cookie is HTTP-only and cannot be accessed by any JavaScript running on the page — this is a security feature.
4. Third-Party Cookies
When you make a purchase, Stripe may set their own cookies (_stripe_sid, _stripe_mid) for fraud prevention purposes. These are set by Stripe and governed by their own Privacy Policy.
5. Managing Cookies
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy if we add new cookies or change how existing ones are used. We will notify you of material changes via the consent banner, giving you the opportunity to review and re-consent.
